Kick-off on 05.05.25 17:00.
In the opening round of Group B at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship, Spain will face France at the Við Djúpumýrar Stadium in Klaksvík. The two teams have met nine times over the past fifteen years. In 2011, La Roja claimed a 1–0 win and secured bronze at the continental tournament. During Euro 2013 qualification, the match ended in a 1–1 draw. In the group stages of the 2013 and 2022 editions, Spain prevailed 2–0 and 3–0, respectively. In the 2017 group stage, the teams shared the points after a 1–1 draw. La Roja also triumphed in the semi-finals of Euro 2015 and 2025 (1–1, 4–3 on penalties and 6–1). In 2023, a brace from Strasbourg forward Liana Joseph helped Les Bleues defeat their rivals 3–2 in the final — their only win over Spain in official competitions.
