Ukrainian poetry helps us to understand ourselves better and to find important words and mental strength to overcome difficult times. People read it when they fall in love, seek inspiration, or go to defend their homeland. It plays with form and content, impresses with ideas, becomes a manifesto for generations.

This playlist was created as part of a partnership between MEGOGO and the Ukrainian Book Institute for National Poetry Reading Week 2024, which aims to consolidate Ukrainian society around reading as a life strategy and the role of poets and the poetic word in Ukrainian culture, which continues in times of war.
