The way designers and artists manipulate our view and attention is amazing. The ability to direct our view at a certain element of a painting, or even create a whole trajectory of its movement, as well as to convey certain sensations, are integral parts of the work of artists and designers. Certainly, each of them has their own style, visual vocabulary, and creative manner. But at the same time, artists and designers use some common principles and techniques. Thanks to them, artists give paintings a certain rhythm, highlight the primary and secondary, combine elements into groups, create a sense of scale, embody the author's idea and, of course, achieve visual harmony.
