On March 13 1961, a huge "avalanche" of clay, earth and water descended on the residential area of Kurenivka. In half an hour it covered the Krasin tram depot, the Spartak Stadium, dozens of residential and industrial buildings, and killed many people. But the tragedy was kept quiet for decades.

In the audio series "Kurenivka: The Story of the Kyiv Flood", we will try to look into the causes of the disaster together with experts. We'll hear the stories of eyewitnesses, whose testimonies were narrated by actors.
