A well-armed gang of hardened criminals raids bank branches in the capital with impunity, brutally shooting guards. Two police departments, headed by former friends Denis Klein and Léo Vrinks, will take over the investigation of these crimes. They have completely different methods of work and goals. For example, for Leo, the liquidation of the gang is just another fulfillment of his police duty, but for Denis, it is a good chance to move up in his career and get the long-awaited position of police chief. Two policemen start a joint investigation, and when Vrinks gets as close as possible to the solution, getting into a difficult situation, Klein sets him up, not realizing how it may end.
