Coming through a brutal selection and competition with 42 people in one place, Jake Haurd enters an elite Naval Academy in Annapolis. But having decided that the main problem is now behind, he is very wrong. Merciless drill, strict discipline and phenomenal training and physical activity fall on him like a stone tile. And on top of all, at Jake's first day he becomes a victim of the angriest Officer of the Academy, Lieutenant Cole.
