The main characters of the plot are two feuding figure skaters. They are narcissistic Michael, who has a crowd of admirers, and prodigy Jimmy, who was once spotted by his coach at the local pond. Because of a fight at the world championships, they are excommunicated from the big sport, depriving them of medals, but three years later, they become the first male pair in figure skating.
