Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his uncle and aunt. He used to be a common exemplary high-school student, in love with his classmate Gwen Stacy who secretly loves him back. But after he gets bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound superpowers and his life changes forever. But a question what happened to his parents still torments him. He meets his father’s former partner, who worked together on a regeneration formula. Peter helps to finish it, and Connors injects himself with this vaccine to recover his hand, but turns into the Lizard. Peter realizes his guilt and starts a new life as a mysterious superhero Spider-Man, a crime fighter, while trying to find the way to stop Connors.
