Action takes place in 1280 in Scotland. This is a story of the legendary national hero William Wallace, who dedicated himself to war with England under the King Edward the Longshanks. He lost his father when he was a boy and was raised by his uncle in Europe. William returns to his homeland as an adult man who dreams of having his own family and live a peaceful life. But his bride gets killed by the British, and William begins his crusade for freedom.
