Children's surgeon Svitlana has long dreamed of motherhood, but her health does not allow her to have a baby. Soon a woman and her son Kostia come for an appointment. The boy looks very much like Svitlana's husband, and later it turns out that the husband is, in fact, his biological father... All this sets in motion a series of tragic events.
