What is identity, and how is it formed? What are the strategies for forming national identity, and what should be the state policy of identity formation? Why does knowledge about identity make people stronger? What will help to form a unified image of the Ukrainian nation now?

The answers to these and other important questions about Ukrainian identity are in a series of short videos by Nataliia Kryvda, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Philosophy and Culture at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The project “In Search of Identity” was created by the educational organization “Cultural Project”. It helps Ukrainians reboot their knowledge of Ukrainian history and culture, find out the reasons for the events that are taking place today, and find answers to questions about the roots of their own identity.
