The plots of three stories are based on the works of Susan Glaspell, John Galsworthy and Eugene O'Neill. One of them tells of a woman forced to choose between her former and her present lover. Another shows an investigation into the strange death of a husband, possibly at the hands of his wife. A third heroine no longer loves her spouse so much because of his lifestyle.
