After 20 years of marriage, Maria leaves her husband. She rents room 212 in a hotel across the street, from where she can watch their apartment and her former life. The heroine doubts the correctness of her decision. On that same magical night, Maria’s husband appears in the room as his twenty-year-old self. Other characters from the past join him, and together they offer Maria unsolicited advice. She has only one night to decide whether she is ready to start over.
