American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley arrives in Nuremberg in 1945 to evaluate the sanity of Nazi leaders before trial. While working with Hermann Göring, Hitler’s right-hand man, Kelley becomes consumed by his attempt to understand the nature of evil.
