Primal (2019–2025) is an animated series blending action, adventure, and drama, created by director Genndy Tartakovsky. The story unfolds in a prehistoric world filled with brutality and a constant struggle for survival.

At the heart of the series are Spear, a cave man who has lost his family, and Fang, a female Tyrannosaurus rex who has endured her own tragedy. Fate brings them together, and their shared pain becomes the foundation of an unlikely alliance. Unable to communicate through words, they learn to understand one another through actions, instincts, and trust. Each episode follows their journey across dangerous lands inhabited by predators, hostile tribes, and an unforgiving natural world.
