This is a story of an unordinary friendship of a guy named Miles and a robotic dog named A.X.L. This giant dog is a secret project of a military department. As the experiment failed the dog ended up at a junkyard, where Miles found him. Having high intelligence and dog's loyalty, A.X.L. grown attached to the boy soon, but the military men decide to return the robot.
