Terrible events unfold on the American station in Antarctica. Something is woken up and extracted from a glacier near the Norwegian station. The creature can disguise itself as anyone. Being left alone with an alien substance on an icy continent in an atmosphere of distrust, the polar explorers have to find out who of them is a human.
