In a multimillion Mexican city of Juarez, just across Rio Grande from the American mining town of El Paso, favorable conditions for economic industrial are created. Therefore, along the border there are thousands of small factories using cheap labor for the production of various electronics. The government does not invest in law enforcement of slum life of these people. More than five thousand women were raped and killed in the area. From time to time, the police appoint someone guilty and blamed for a hundred or kills, or spread rumors about the existence of the devil, in which local Indians are willing to believe. Lorin Edrin is a desperate Chicago newspaper journalist, who risks her life and begins her own investigation of the horrific crimes to involve the public force to ensure civilized life of simple workaholics.
