Mankind has polluted the earth with industrial wastes to such extent that life on the planet has become impossible. Therefore, the huge ship was built, on which people left their home. They left behind only piles of garbage and robots scavengers that were supposed to clean the surface. Generations have gone, but no one returned. But one of the robots, Vall-E, is given the chance to go into space and remind his creators that they have a house.
