Inter enters this home fixture looking to make amends for previous setbacks on the international stage and secure a place in the upper half of the standings. In the domestic Primavera championship, the club has been playing attacking football and scoring plenty of goals, but it has earned only one point from its first two matches in the Youth League. It is crucial for the hosts to maintain the utmost discipline during positional attacks, prevent the Ukrainian players from quickly transitioning from defense to attack, and make the most of their key players' goalscoring instincts.

Shakhtar enters this match looking to earn its first points of the current campaign and climb from 31st place in the standings. In the opening rounds of the Youth League, the team suffered two narrow defeats, losing 1-0 to Dutch side PSV and 2-1 to Greek club AEK. The visitors will try to withstand Milan's early pressure, minimize the space in front of their own penalty area, and use quick, vertical passes when transitioning into attack.

These youth teams have met twice before in official European club competitions, facing each other in the group stage in 2021, when the Italian club recorded two victories, winning 1-0 and 5-0. The upcoming match in Milan will be a serious tactical battle between two teams looking to strengthen their positions in this prestigious European tournament.
