Successful American man Jack Moore, who achieved unprecedented business contract in China, felt on top of the world. But the triumph was short-lived. He spends the night with a beautiful woman, and then is accused of her brutal murder. By the grace of Chinese inflexible justice, according to which the suspect is guilty, Jack is absolutely alone, not counting the assigned female lawyer, devoted to the laws of her state. But during the investigation she finds the truth and becomes increasingly convinced of the innocence of her defendant.
