Florence and the Machine is a British indie rock band, in which the soloist is Florence Welch (born in 1986), called by the press as "the queen of the British eccentricity". Since the inception of Florence and the Machine, participants are constantly changing, and only Florence remains perpetuating. At the BRIT Awards, their album Lungs won the award for "Album of the Year".
