After the Soviet Union invades Poland in 1939, thousands of internees are isolated within the walls of a former monastery converted into a prison camp. Thus begins a psychological confrontation between a young Polish pianist and an enemy agent. The latter seeks to break the prisoner’s spirit through sophisticated ideological manipulation.
