This is exactly what the Architectures documentary series offers, exploring architecture as an art form. The information is presented in a clear and accessible way, while still maintaining rigor and intellectual depth. The project began in 1994, created by Richard Copans and Stan Neumann.

It is worth noting that architecture is not always about aesthetics alone. In the past, most structures served practical purposes before becoming historical monuments. One episode of the series features the Fondation Louis Vuitton building, also known as Le Vaisseau de Verre. The project was initiated by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault.

The idea emerged in 2006, with the intention of creating a landmark of contemporary architecture that would also reflect the company’s identity. A key aspect of the brand is creativity and support for the arts, which is symbolized by the twelve glass sails that adorn the building located on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. Bernard Arnault invited Frank Gehry to design the structure. Gehry is also known for designing the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
