Museum stories
Museum stories
Thanks to the documentary series Museum Stories, viewers have the opportunity to discover a wide array of museums, ranging from ancient landmarks to contemporary spaces. The show transports audiences to different eras in history, celebrating human creativity in all its diverse forms. By showcasing eclectic collections, it takes viewers on a journey through time to uncover the stories of creative geniuses and master artists.
In particular, audiences will be treated to the Petit Palais and its artistic masterpieces, explore the depths of Asian history at the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts — offering a space for meditation and aesthetics — and visit the Marmottan Monet Museum, the Jean-Jacques Henner Museum, the Arab World Institute, and the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine.
Museum Stories was produced by Urubu Films, a company renowned for over a decade of work across four core areas: documentaries, art and culture, corporate media, and executive production. The project was co-produced by Museum TV and produced by Charles Lavilanie, who is well-known for his involvement in projects like My Little Museum, Portrait of an Artist, and Living Art.
Grégory Shepard served as both the director and editor for the project. He is already familiar to audiences for his work on the documentary series Art Museums. The show is narrated by Gaëlle Olsen, known for her role in the series Tomorrow Is Ours, which has been honored with nine French Soap Awards. Joining the production team is François Combin, whose previous credits include the films The Architects of Xavier Veilhan and Via de Un Pueblo Street.
