The series Irreversible (2024) is a crime drama and detective thriller directed by Bruno Gascon. The story unfolds in a quiet coastal town shaken by the brutal murder of a young woman. To investigate this high-profile case, psychologist Júlia Mendes and inspector Pedro Sousa join forces.

As they attempt to reconstruct the victim’s final day, the partners quickly realize that beneath the town’s respectable façade lies a web of lies. Every resident harbors a dark secret and is willing to resort to blackmail or forgery to protect their loved ones. Step by step, as they unravel the mystery, the protagonists find themselves engaged in an exhausting struggle not only against the town’s code of silence, but also against their own inner demons. Director Bruno Gascon, who has more than ten awards to his name, also wrote the screenplay.
