The movie ""Be Kind Rewind" is a fun comedy about two eccentric and childlike friends, who live in New Jersey and try to make ends meet. One of them is a janitor who thinks that the local power plant irradiates and adversely affects his mental capacity. He decides to sabotage the power plant, causing his brain to become magnetized, and he unwittingly erases all the videotapes at the box office, which employs his friend. In order not to destroy the office and keep the business afloat, they decide to re-shoot all the films, including such hits as "Back to the Future," "Robocop," "The Lion King", "Rush Hour" and others. This home video shot at the "backyard" using an amateur camera and materials at hand suddenly turns out to be more and more popular among customers than the originals, and makes guys local celebrities.
