The action takes place in the 30s. Nikita Fedotov comes from a small town in a bright and inviting Leningrad. He has a good voice and a desire to sing. But he couldn’t go to the conservatory. Because of youth extremism Nikita thinks that his life is over and has lost its meaning. He decides to jump into the Neva River. But the guard who pulls Nikita out, offers him to work as a criminal investigator. It turns out that the life and adventures are just beginning!
