1956. “Evgeny Onegin”, a Soviet dry cargo ship, has to deliver 10 tigers, 2 lions and one monkey from a tropical port to Odessa zoo. Shuleykin, a cook from a buffet, strives to get to the ship as well and come back to his motherland. He can get a place on the ship only in the guise of an animal trainer and will have to feed them during the voyage. Agreeing on this, Shuleykin didn’t realize that the animals can go out of control, and except for a willful monkey, there will be Maryana, an unpredictable bartender. And that sometimes, it is better to be in a cage than on the loose.
