Vicky and Christina are two young American girls who go for a summer vacation in Barcelona, where Vicky is going to work over her thesis. There they meet Antonio, a charming and seducing Spanish artist (Havier Bardem). In his provocative manner, Antonio proposes them to go to his place and make love. Vicky is shocked by such proposal, and a braver and more open Christina doesn’t mind yielding to the temptation. Very soon she gets under free and romantic Antonio’s charm, and private details of his marriage with a beautiful, crazy and very passionate Spanish woman (Penelope Cruz) only add fuel to the fire.
