The movie events take place in a hard period for the USSR. There is a war in Afghanistan, the economy falls apart, and a lot of greedy people are trying to get some money in the ruins. Gorbachev has just come to power, and the spirit of changes is flying in the air. Feliz, an electronic engineer, leaves his job and goes to work as a street cleaner in order to hide himself from the chaos surrounding him. But life isn’t going to leave him in peace so easily. He becomes a witness of stealing deficit products, his brother dies at war, and the character has to leave his cozy closet.
