The film is based on Gennady Bokarev’s "Test." An employee of a scientific institution, the engineer Yusupov, realizes that a project for which he is responsible doesn’t meet modern requirements. He brings changes to it, which have not been applied before. Because of this, Yusupov has to face resistance and incomprehension.
