A colonel of the Third Bureau arrived in a small colonial town on the edge of the Empire. He was sent to cope with a pesky uprising by the natives or, as they are usually called, barbarians. Whether an attack is really being prepared or it's just a rumor — the colonel does not care too much about this, he is ready to get information at any cost.
