This is a project about the destructed lives, about people who have forgotten how to live and the people who volunteered to bury themselves with the dead. Only after forgiveness, their life is able to begin again. On July 27, 2002 on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Fourteenth Air Corps of the Air Force of Ukraine at the airport "Sknilov", which is not far from Lviv, an air show was held. About ten thousand people came to see it. None of those who were there expected that during the execution of one of the stunts a completely fueled aircraft SU-27 will collapse in the crowd of thousands spectators. The tragedy killed 77 people. After eleven years, their families have not been able to forgive the pilot Vladimir Toponar who ran the fatal killer-plane. Many of them still can not believe that their close people are gone. In the first film cycle "Forgiveness", a broadcaster and psychologist Dmitry Karpachev went to the city in order to help members of the tragedy and their families to overcome their pain and to forgive those responsible for the family's grief. He will reach the hearts, which have been living in sorrow for the deseased loved ones for more than ten years already and which are no longer able to notice the joy of life. “We will show how important it is to learn to forgive, that it is first of all necessary to those who forgive, that it is important to not live for the sake of those who died, but for the sake of those who live,” – says Dmitry Karpachev. – “Even after such a terrible grief, as the Sknilov’s tragedy it is possible to forgive. Television viewers will witness difficult choices of those who have to either forgive and move on or voluntarily kill themselves by continuing to hate. I have to admit that this is the most difficult project in which I have ever been involved in.” Will Dmitry Karpachev help the suffering families? What will the victims' families have to go through to realize that their close people are gone? And will they be able to forgive those responsible for the tragedy?
